Over the past several years, Iceland has emerged as a vibrant center for medical and scientific innovation, with Kerecis at the forefront in the area of wound healing and tissue repair.
The discovery of intact fish skin grafts and research on specific to outpatient applications has led providers to develop new treatment protocols that have changed how they practice wound care. In this seminar, leading researchers will gather to present wound and surgical techniques and their corresponding treatment algorithms designed to shorten the length of stay in the hospital and reduce the need for autografting.
The seminar: Navigating the Biologics Business of Clinical and Surgical Reimbursement will take place in Scottsdale, AZ, January 12-13, 2024. The seminar chairs will demonstrate various application techniques and discuss the challenges in the ever-changing reimbursement for skin substitutes. The purpose of this seminar is to receive scientific and product training specific to clinical and surgical reimbursement when using Kerecis’s intact fish skin graft, to exchange best practices across the US, and to discuss its application in the field.
