Attendees are required to be proactive during the full symposium, actively contributing to discussions and providing feedback in the form of a follow-up survey. Kerecis only covers the costs of attendees that have relevant and legitimate benefits from attending the program.
Workshop Coverage
For attendees, standard travel air fare, meals, and lodging are covered by Kerecis for the duration of the workshop. Travel has to be booked by Kerecis; self-booked travel arrangements will not be reimbursed. Kerecis does not pay for family members and/or spouses. Government employees are not eligible to participate in the workshop without prior written approval.

Start by applying for a place at the Arctic Midnight Sun Workshop 2023. Please note that a limited number of places are available, so we strongly recommend applying today.
Note that your case will be reviewed by Kerecis Medical Affairs Team after submission to ensure that it is both complete and relevant for presentation at the workshop. If you are eligible to attend, you will receive an email with information on how to submit your relevant case abstract. The deadline for submission is April 7th, 2023.
Each abstract submission will be blind reviewed by the panel of judges who are experts within the field of surgical and burn injuries. Winning cases will be announced on April 21st, 2023, after which, invitations to attend the workshop will be sent out.
All participants must submit an abstract for evaluation to be considered for attendance.
The top 4 best abstract submissions will receive an “Aurora Award” and will present their findings on the main stage.
Eligible top 30 abstracts will win an invitation to the workshop to present their findings during the course of the workshop.
Aurora Awards:
Case series will be blind reviewed by an external review committee of medical experts.

The Arctic Midnight Sun workshop is a two-day workshop. Air travel*, meals, and lodging for the two nights during the workshop are covered by Kerecis for the participating attendees. During the interactive workshop, each participant is required to share their experiences and best practice with using the fish skin.
