February 7-13 is National Burn Awareness Week

February 7-13 is National Burn Awareness Week, and the American Burn Association is leading with a 2021 theme of “Electrical Safety from Amps to Zap (A to Z).”

The American Burn Association is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of everyone affected by burn injury.  The organization  and its members dedicate their efforts and resources to promoting and supporting burn-related research, education, care, rehabilitation, and prevention. The ABA has more than 2,000 members in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Members include physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, researchers, social workers, fire fighters, and hospitals with burn centers.
