The Boswick Burn and Wound Care Symposium is an international conference that covers the latest advancements in wound healing, burn care, and infection control. Presentations will be made by physicians, nurses, researchers, related medical specialists, and others involved in the care of soft tissue injuries and related complications. The meeting is designed for physicians, researchers, investigators, nurses, therapists, dieticians, and others interested in development of techniques, treatments, drugs, and devices in the study and management of wound healing, wound management, burn care, and infection control.

Dr. Velamuri went to St louis university for an integrated plastic surgery residency. Finished a one year burn Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. Full time academic plastic/burn surgeon. Also serve as the Medical director, Firefighters Burn center, Burn Fellowship Director UTHSC Memphis and current chair of Global outreach committee (ABA).
