Symposium Berlin, November 21st:
Over the past several years, Iceland has emerged as a vibrant center for medical and scientific innovation, with Kerecis at the forefront of wound healing and tissue repair.
To discuss fish skin technology, Kerecis has hosted recurring symposiums with world-class doctors. This time we are bringing the seminar to Berlin, where we invite practicing burn and plastic healthcare professionals to join us for a symposium. In the evening for a dinner at the Embassy of Iceland in Berlin.
The Kerecis Burn Symposium is a one afternoon event. For eligible healthcare professionals, Kerecis covers standard airfare, one night’s lodging, and meals for the duration of the workshop in return for full participation in the symposium and the follow-up surveys. Kerecis does not pay or reimburse for travel arrangements for family members, including spouses.
Dr. Michael Van Vliet, MD, FACS, a board-certified plastic surgeon (American Board Plastic Surgery), and board-certified surgical intensivist (American Board of Surgery) is currently the Medical Director for the Van Vliet Plastic Surgery Center and the Burn and Reconstructive Center at Blake Hospital.
As the medical director for Burn and Reconstructive Center at Blake Hospital his compassionate care begins with the most critically ill burn patients, as he manages every need from the acute stage of their illnesses through reconstruction and beyond.
Dr. Van Vliet often works with Kerecis Omega 3 Wound when treating his patients with deep partial and full thickness burns. He will share this experience with us at the following events of the Kerecis Burn Symposium Europe:
