About EURAPS — The European Association of Plastic Surgeons

Founded in Paris on May 23, 1989, the European Association of Plastic Surgeons (EURAPS) was created to support and elevate the field of Plastic Surgery across Europe. Its by‑laws were formally approved during the association’s first business meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, on September 5, 1989.

Purpose of EURAPS

  • Promote excellence in Plastic Surgery throughout Europe, strengthening scientific and clinical standards across the specialty.
  • Provide an annual forum showcasing leading scientific work, selected from research presented at national Plastic Surgery societies.
  • Encourage research, investigation, and educational collaboration at a European level, supporting coordinated teaching and knowledge exchange.
  • Preserve unity within the specialty by highlighting the diverse disciplines and approaches that make up the field of Plastic Surgery.

Kerecis will be attending EURAPS — The European Association of Plastic Surgeons and showcasing its fish skin graft technology.
