Andrea C. Clark, DVM, DACVS-SA

Dr. Clark attended Texas A&M University for both undergraduate and veterinary school. Dr. Clark was accepted into veterinary school a year early, and she was awarded her B.S. in Biomedical Science by default after completing her first year of veterinary school. After a rotating internship at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital & Referral Center in San Diego, California and two internships, Dr. Clark completed surgical residency at VCA West Coast in Fountain Valley, California. Dr. Clark went on to become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Clark has authored papers that are published in both national and international journals. She has been a presenter at international veterinary surgical meetings, and has presented numerous lectures to veterinary specialists, local veterinarians, and veterinary students. Dr. Clark is also a member of numerous veterinary organizations.

Astrid M. Beníquez Rodríguez, DVM, MS
Dr. Beníquez attended the University of Florida, Gainesville, where she completed both her undergraduate and master’s degree in veterinary Forensics and went on to graduate magna cum laude in May 2024 from Lincoln Memorial University Richard A. Gillespie College of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout her studies, Dr. Beníquez worked as veterinary assistant and later technician, and has worked as a volunteer in urgent care, teaching hospital, and shelter environments. She was presented with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine clinical excellence award in small animal medicine during her clinical year rotations, completed a rotating internship at VCA Regional Institute of Veterinary Emergency and Referral RIVER in Chattanooga, TN and is currently completing a Surgical Specialty Internship at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, FL.
