Aurora Awards Winner Lisa Jeffers on Kerecis Omega3 Wound

At the 2019 Northern Lights Wound Workshop in Reykjavik Lisa Jeffers was honored by His Excellency Gudni Th. Johannesson, President of Iceland, for her medical fish skin research.

Lisa Jeffers’ submission to the Aurora Awards, the Kerecis case study competition introduced last year, was a case series on atypical wounds using intact Kerecis fish skin grafts to provide dermal regeneration for an exposed bone resulting from complications such as melanoma cancer removal.

In the video above, Ms. Jeffers addresses the question of how Kerecis Omega3 Wound compares to skin substitutes that are available on the market today.
